It gives users access to information about presence, and enables instant messaging, audio and video calling, rich online meetings, and extensive web conferencing capabilities. For example, you won't see the presence of your co-workers when you type an email in Outlook (by 'presence' I mean you won't see whether they're available, busy, or away), and you won't have a few other features. Skype for Business Online is a communications service that connects people for meetings and conversations anytime and from anywhere. If you have Office 2007, Skype for Business 2016 won't be fully integrated with your Office programs. It provides users with access to more intelligent features like Microsoft Office. When your plan expires at the end of your current term, in order to have continued access to these features, you'll have to switch to a different plan. These features will continue to be supported in all plans that include Teams, including Office 365 suites. This means that you will no longer be able to acquire Skype for Business Online Plan 2 for instant messaging, presence, meetings, and peer-to-peer voice and video.
